What is Panic Attack?
Panic attack is a real dread situation wherein a person feels excess fear and great anxiety. The heart beats become fast and the person find it difficult to breathe.

The person undergoes sudden anxiety and fear which might cause a psychological stimulation and it might cause a sudden heart attack in some people.

The panic attack upsets the health of the person and the body quickly reacts to the hormones produced. It might get over within half an hour.

The person who experiences the panic attack might go through an uncomfortable incident due to the rapid hormone rush in the body.

The panic attack symptoms might vary from person to person. The primary symptoms of panic attack are:

  • Fear of loosing self control
  • Instability and feeling crazy

Panic attack happens more in women than in men. Statistics show that rape and sexual abuses might be the major reasons for most of the panic attacks in women. The panic attack might originate in the adolescence stage or in early adulthood. Information about these attacks in women is available because they come forward and seek treatment. In the case of men, they have to play the role of protector of the family and cannot show their anxiety.

my Panic Attacks have lessened after i studied relaxation techniques and took some food supplements like 5-HTP and B Vitamins.

my doctor prescribed me some SSRI for my panic attacks. those medications also helped but i dont like the side effects of SSRIs.
